Aviation gifts
Aviation gifts land when they show one aircraft that matters to the person: a photo of it, redrawn in one of five styles and seen free before you pay. No photo to hand? The code of their home airport works without one.

Buying for Christmas? Order dates and picks

If you already know who it's for, go straight to gifts for pilots, gifts for plane spotters, gifts for plane lovers and aviation enthusiasts, aviation gifts for men or aviation Christmas gifts. The rest of this page is for when you aren't sure which of those fits.
Give them their own aircraft or their own airport
Get them the aircraft they care about, from a photograph, or the code of the airport that means most to them. Either could only have been bought for that one person, and either goes large on a print, a mug or a bottle. Aviation gift ideas sorts the options by how much you know about their flying.
Where aviation gifts start: a photo or a place
A photograph can become a poster, a framed print or something they use every day. An airport-code design celebrates a place without needing a photograph. Both give you a way to connect the present to their interest.
- You have a photograph: restyle it in one of five art styles and choose from free watermarked previews, or print the original image as it is.
- You know a favourite airfield: explore the airport-code design, made from its three letters, with the airport's name, country and position underneath.
- You are still choosing: the recipient guides below help you find a subject they will recognise and enjoy.
You may well not be the aviation fan in the house. Perhaps you are buying for a partner, a parent or a friend whose interest you share only from the passenger seat, and that's fine. You don't need to know the difference between two aircraft to get this right. You need one fact about them, and the sections below are about which fact to go and find.
Pilot, spotter, crew or enthusiast: pick a page

- Gifts for pilots. Somebody who flies: celebrate a first solo, a qualification or a favourite place to fly. For a learner, see gifts for student pilots and the private pilot licence cost guide; for the last flight, pilot retirement gifts.
- Gifts for plane spotters. Somebody who photographs aircraft: give a favourite shot a life beyond the camera roll. Plane spotting in the UK lists published places to watch.
- Gifts for plane lovers. An enthusiast who does not fly: start with the aircraft or aviation story they love.
- Aviation gifts for men. Ideas for a partner, dad, brother or friend, including when you know little about flying.
- Flight attendant and cabin crew gifts. Start from their base, a favourite destination or a career memory.
- Spitfire gifts. Use a photograph of the aircraft they love, with permission and realistic expectations about how much detail a restyle keeps.
What each product needs: a photo or a code
The aircraft print needs a photograph at least 800 pixels on its shortest side. It is redrawn from your photo in one of five looks (blueprint, vintage poster, line drawing, watercolour or oil painting), and you see a free watermarked preview first: up to three a day. Nothing is made until you've approved the picture, and the print is made from it without the watermark.

The airport code print needs a code and no upload. Type the three letters and the rest of the layout is filled in for you to check before anything is made. What an airport code is explains where the letters come from, and the Heathrow airport code shows one worked through, as do Gatwick, Manchester and Edinburgh and Stansted. There is no upload, so it's the one to choose when the gift is a surprise and you can't get hold of their photographs.
The photo print needs the file of a photograph, ideally the original, not a copy saved from social media. Before you can pay, the photograph is measured against every size on offer, and a size it's too small for can't be ordered. You'll find out what it will carry before you spend anything.

Prints, canvas, metal, mugs and bottles compared
A poster leaves them free to choose a frame; a framed print comes in black, white, natural or brown, with the print already fitted. Canvas is stretched on a 2 cm frame and metal is a 3 mm panel. A photo mug brings their aircraft to the breakfast table. For something to take along, put a photograph on a drinks bottle. Choose the format around their daily life as well as their favourite subject.
Every poster is on one stock, a 250 gsm uncoated off-white archival paper; framed prints use a lighter paper. The airport code print comes as a poster, framed print, canvas, framed canvas, mug, bottle or digital file; it is not made in metal or wood. Each product also comes as a digital file: we email you a download link, and it works for 30 days.

Christmas, Father's Day and other occasions
- Aviation Christmas gifts: choose the picture and format, then check the current delivery estimate.
- Father's Day gifts: find an aircraft or airshow memory you share.
- A journey already arranged: a decorative surprise-trip print can reveal it. This is a keepsake, not a ticket or valid boarding pass; no travel is included.
If you can name the aircraft they love
If you can name one particular aircraft, you have a subject to build around. If you only know they love planes in general, the same page shows how a familiar airfield becomes the starting point instead.
UK delivery, returns and misprints
Nothing is held in stock. Each piece is made after you order it, delivery to a UK address is free, and it takes 4 to 9 working days. Prints made from your photo or your details fall outside the usual cancellation right once production begins; airport-code prints can be returned unused within 14 days of delivery. Anything that arrives damaged, misprinted or wrong is reprinted or refunded. The detail is on delivery and returns.
